I first became aware of my lineage in 1981 during a stay in the Ellison Family Home. Prior to Sunday lunch I was having a drink in the Library when I came across the Royal’s hunting ledgers. It was then that I found out that the Ellison’s had been in the Royal Court for hundreds of years, so I was told by Rosemary, John’s wife.
Upon my mother’s death I found a handwritten letter that was in shambles. It was an outline of my lineage of over a thousand years. From William the Conqueror to the first eight Kings of England, it traced my family tree ending up with my brothers and myself. Please google search “Sir Neville BrownJohn” and son “JohnBrown John”.…who truly is the most interesting man in the world. He learned to speak German dining with his father, the British Attaché to Germany in the 1930s. It was there he learned to speak German lunching with Hitler.
