1953-65 – Growing up in La Jolla was idyllic. A small community … I was lucky enough to be surrounded by varied talents. I held something in common with the great actor, Cliff Robertson. We were both President of La Jolla Elementary School. He went on to play JFK and I was off to imitate James Bond.

Fortunate enough to work with the greatest photographers of the past half century which include Englishmen Henry Clark (French Vogue 50s and 60s), David Bailey (life was portraying in the moving Blow-Up), and the Italian greats (Bob Kriger, Aldo Falai, and Marco Emiley). During this period, was Milan’s Fashion Models Commercial King.

Restoration of Historical Virginia Way Home and a fleet of antique automobiles. During this time was the primary caregiver to my two brothers that ended with both their passing.

2008-Present – Palms and Roses (Virginia Way) has been deemed a historical site by the La Jolla Historical Society. This has been a difficult task as all records were lost in the fire of 1953. See my “Projects” that are on-going and constantly growing.
So…..there’s a Seinfeld bit about old people and their driving habits. “The older they get, the bigger the car gets…
“And old people have a way of backing out of the driveway. They don’t turn from side to side. Their attitude is, I’m old and I’m coming back.” I’ve been around a while, now. You watch out for me, buddy. I survived, let’s see you do it.”
